Al Pignatelli, born as Alessandro Pignatelli on the 4th of July 1982, in Naples, Italy, has had a love for music from an early age. When he was four, he received a small electronic keyboard. He had noticed he was able to reproduce tunes with ease. From there on he has developed an interest in sounds, musical instruments and anything that had the slightest connection to music. At the age of 18, he moved to Dublin; in his early 20s, due to his love for House music, he got involved in the electronic music scene by Djing at afterparties around the city. His main love is and always will be House, although he enjoys dabbling in Techno too.

He moved to Barcelona in 2015, with the desire to expand his knowledge about the world of electronic/dance music. He enrolled for a course with the official DJ Plastic Academy where he has attained a deep level of understanding from one of the best experts in the scientific and academic study of all phenomena related to Deejay: Jordi Carreras (Creator, director, presenter and producer of radio and television programs: SOLO SWEET IBIZA Official Podcast, ON THE DEEP for Clubbers Radio, BEaDJ for IBIZA GLOBAL TV and many more). While studying, he was given the possibility to show his skills in some venues around Barcelona: Everlasting Love (Sitges), Adam Hall Group (Showroom, Barcelona), Macarena Club (Barcelona). He has also played music at various roof-top parties around Barcelona. After successfully passing all the necessary exams, he has received the Official Technical Recognition Diploma from Plastic Academy with the collaboration of Pioneer DJ.

He took up further lessons to dive deeper into the field of production and has already released a few singles. Al is now working on different kinds of projects, mastering his skills and above everything else, he is enjoying making and sharing his music with others.
